About the event:

The 6th Annual Esophageal Cancer Walk/Run is hosted by The Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity working to raise awareness, encourage early detection and to fund research of esophageal hopes of a cure.™

In 2015, The Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation was able to award esophageal cancer research funding for the very first time! The foundation also raised national AND international awareness. Your continued support directly impacts and sustains this mission!

The path at Warwick City Park is approximately three miles and guests are encouraged to walk or run at their own pace as the event is a walk/run and not a timed race.

The former address at Warwick City Park was: Asylum Road, Warwick, RI. The new address is Steven O'Connor Blvd., Warwick, RI.

Ready to make an even bigger impact?

When you register for the event, you will be asked if you'd like to create your own fundraising page. This is a great way to help raise more awareness of esophageal cancer and funding for this life-saving mission.

Registration is NOT required to make a custom fundraising page. To learn more and get started, visit:
