Calling all beginners! Have you recently thought about training for a 5k? Do you have no idea where to start? We can help! We've put together a 14 week training plan to get you prepared to race the Gaspee Days 5k! The training plan begins shortly after the info session on February 7th and has been put together by our on staff USATF certified coach Mwangi Gitahi.
Mwangi, Eric and Ray will be organizing the beginner group runs twice a week at 6pm beginning with an info session on Tuesday Februrary 7th. They have a ton of experience both running and coaching and will be supply you with advice and tips throughout your training. We can answer any questions you may have on the evening of the 7th and via email as well. We are looking specifically for beginners and do not want anyone to feel intimidated! This is going to be a fun experience for everyone involved!
